Walls

I don't hold much with walls;
they tend to get in the way
and hem in man's belief
and can lead his thoughts astray.

Seems to me that nature
has provided God's venue
and there's no man-made walls
that can match that God-made view.

Sitting by a river
watching the clear water flow
brings you as close to God
as anywhere that I know.

And, from atop a hill
overlooking prairie lands,
you can appreciate
the creations of God's hands.

There ain't no walls around
that'll hold God's creation
so I don't hold with walls
...simply nature's location.
